We are two dads who care about our community, our environment, and where our food comes from. We want the very best products for our families and our neighbors. We also know that beekeeping and bee having are two completely different things. Beekeeping is hard, heavy, sweaty work that taxes the body and the mind and rewards the keeper with healthy and happy bees… there might be a little sweet golden honey at the end as well.
Our Mission
Our mission is sustainable beekeeping in Central Virginia. We do not think this is achievable in this part of the country if the focus is pollination profits or large scale honey production. Instead, our focus is an all natural approach to producing our own stock of gentle, hardy, disease resistant bees suited to our Central Virginia climate.
